As the winter weather worsened we moved inside to do jobs, finally putting up a ceiling in the galley/lounge which might keep us warmer. Preparation consisted of insulating, battening out, boxing in the hatches, painting the panels and then measuring and cutting them to size. Then securing with brass screws with countersink brass cups. It gives the galley lounge a finished feel and might keep us warmer.

Waterdog’s new coat still looked splendid when sitting on mud surrounded by snow, this should have been a sign of the winter to come….
