Well, Covid happened! After building a nice galley during the lockdowns we moved on to improve our environmental impact by having a new wheelhouse roof that could support solar panels and also keep the cold out so that the wheelhouse was useable through cold weather.

Woodbridge boatyard built the new roof in 2021, it was insulated, draft proof, and arched to add strength.

In 2022 we had solar panels fitted and then 2023 saw LiFePo4 batteries fitted with Victron control products to configure and monitor the performance.
