Launch and head out to the last day’s racing in shifty gusty conditions, 25 to 32 knts wind. Lawrence is tightening and flattening the sail as he goes and enjoys the first of the day’s fast reaches.
A broad reach with too much power and not enough control. The boat capsized to windward, the cause was probably Lawrence easing the sheet which encouraged the boat to bear away more. Pushing the tiller to stop that actually cause the boat to roll over to windward due to the lifting action on the rudder. Another learning experience.
