Pete seemed to think this house was just the right size for Tracy. It's really a lock keepers shed and the post behind Tracy shows the height of flood waters in previous years.

We celebrated Pete and Tracy's 34 years married with some champagne with hibiscus flowers and a meal out in Charleville-Mezieres.

Charleville-Mezieres is an ideal place for barges, cruises, rowing skiffs and canoes, so we blew our canoe up and went for a spin.

Pete & Tracy went way down the river towards the barrage and then looked for a tow back from me using the 2 HP electric outboard on our dinghy.

They paid me back for the tow by racing off back to Waterdog as my ailing battery started to give up the ghost, cheers m'dears! The competitive spirit in Tracy reared up and powered the 2 of them away.
