The top end of the Canal des Ardennes is at Pont à Bar which has a busy little port with fuel for sale and a small chandlery. We squeezed through the moored boats to the long grassy bank in the straight run to the lock onto the River Meuse. We tried to capture the perfect reflection of the clouds and geese in the reflection on the water. This mooring marked the end of the small quaint canal and the start of the big river of the Meuse again.
